So why creative thinking is important? I often work with coachees who are seeking to tap into their creative potential. One of the things I have learned through my experience is that there is a strong link between clarity and creativity. When we are able to clear our minds and focus on the task at hand, we are better able to tap into our creative energies and come up with fresh, innovative ideas.
But achieving clarity is not always easy, especially in today’s fast-paced, cluttered world. We are constantly bombarded with information and distractions, making it difficult to quiet our minds and focus on what truly matters. This is where the practice of mindfulness can be incredibly helpful. By bringing our attention to the present moment and letting go of judgments and expectations, we can begin to clear the mental clutter that blocks our creativity.
I recently worked with a client, who was struggling with growing and building digital marketing business for clients. He had always been doing the job with ease. But lately, he had been feeling stuck and uninspired. No matter how hard he tried, he just couldn’t seem to come up with any new ideas.
As we worked together, it became clear his mind was cluttered with all sorts of distractions and worries. He was trying to juggle work, family, and her writing all at once, and it was taking a toll on her creativity. We started by practicing mindfulness techniques, such as focusing on the present moment, to help him clear his mind and find some much-needed inner peace. We also had a forest bathing session together and he feels fresh and calm after the session
One of the key things that helped him was finding a creative space that was free from distractions. Slowly, He started taking regular breaks to go for walks or spend time in nature, which helped to stimulate his imagination and inspire new ideas.
As his clarity and focus improved, so did his creativity. He began to do it with more ease and flow, and his ideas were fresh and more innovative. He was amazed at how much of a difference these simple changes had made in his funnel building process
So, the link between clarity and creativity is a powerful one. By cultivating mindfulness, and creating a supportive environment, we can unleash our creative potential and tap into our innate ability to come up with fresh, innovative ideas.
