Coachability

An individual’s coachability, or their ability to learn by way of being coached by someone else, is extremely dependent upon the open-mindedness or closed-mindedness of the individual being coached.

Low coachability derives from arrogance and rigid scepticism, but also from naivety and gullibility.

High coachability derives from the balance between healthy scepticism and an open-minded willingness to learn and change.

Coachability Bell Curve

Being coaches, we do not choose who to become our clients. Every client who is looking into coaching is sowing a seed of change to be a better self. More importantly, is the client or you willing to learn more about yourself through a coaching approach?
